Loz
You still have one from this morning in ED businesses, restaurants & trades. I suspect any others were deleted as repeat posts. Administrator Administrator Posted May 21, 2015 Administrator Share Posted May 21, 2015 As Loz said, you posted 'boot sale' in both the ED Issues/Gossip section and in the business section. As what you were posting was not an ED issue I deleted it. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/59491-deleted-post/#findComment-850439 Share on other sites
Jules6862
Did nt realise you were only "allowed" to post in one section and the description states in the ED issue section..discuss anything "its up to you" ?!?! Administrator Administrator Posted May 27, 2015 Administrator Share Posted May 27, 2015 You must also understand that continually posting adverts about your cleaning business will also get deleted, which whilst it must be irritating for you, is against the rules. Jules6862
Not irritating at all..as i dont have a cleaning business! ! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/59491-deleted-post/#findComment-852156 Share on other sites
Administrator Administrator Posted May 28, 2015 Administrator Share Posted May 28, 2015 Unless you're doing work for no money, then this is a business http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,1414202 . Even if it's part time, or a side line, it's still a business and repeatedly advertising your services on the forum is not allowed. reigningcats&dogs
Although your rules state only East Dulwich-based businesses may advertise themselves on the forum, I live on the boundaries at Oaks Avenue, SE19 and - depending on who you speak to - this is either East Dulwich or Crystal Palace. Estate Agents often classify us as the former, and we have the East Dulwich branch of Teddies nursery at one end of our street. And yet, I'm apparently not East Dulwich enough for this forum as I had my posting removed from the site yesterday (admittedly I'd accidentally piggy-backed someone else's thread, but I emailed admin as soon as I realised my mistake). Could you please clarify? Perhaps you could institute a kind UN-style "buffer zone" for those of us living in the disputed territories....a safe haven where we won't get turned away? Administrator Administrator Posted July 27, 2015 Administrator Share Posted July 27, 2015 HiI've just looked at where you're based and it's not in East Dulwich so you can't put an ad up. This topic comes up every now and then but it's too hard to police a buffer zone. You have to be in East Dulwich or right on the edge. Loz
Blimey, that's not even close to ED. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/59491-deleted-post/#findComment-879343 Share on other sites

My sister lived just around the corner from you and fell between the postcodes of Crystal Palace and West Norwood but was close to West Dulwich.
