horse hair

Anyone know here I can get any horse hair from? I recon i'd need about 50 grams. I'm doing a lime finish on a pizza oven, you need the horse hair to add strength to the lime plaster, apparently...

There are several sites advertising horsehair for use in plaster. You can Google them. I was intrigued that horsehair is still used in this way. My great grandfather made horsehair mattresses - only white horsehair was used for royalty, apparently, according to family legend.

here you go @eastdulwichproperty pics attached - it's got half a roof on it at the moment, still waiting on the lime finish, but we've already had some gorgeous pizza's out of it!

You may be able to get fine horse hair at old school plumbers merchants and DIY shops.

It can be mixed with Hawk White for sealing joints.
