Just an observation from my daily vantage point on the lane.

I have witnessed more people with gammy/dodgy legs in East Dulwich than anywhere else I've ever lived. Is there a specialist leg hospital around here somewhere?

There are almost as many dodgy legs as bugaboos.

Are you sure they're all 'raspberries' and not affecting a kind of pimp-rolling 'cool walk?

It's sometimes hard to tell the difference.

I remember very clearly Bill Cosby recounting how his friend Albert got his cool walk off a wino with bad feet.

So you never know.

Feet. I notice feet. It's coming up to sandal time so, please, I beg you, before inflicting your feet on the world, get a pedicure. There's not a lot you can do if you have bad legs but there's a lot you can do with caloused feet and ugly hard skin. Yes I know I'm shallow but still. Would you believe there are still men out there wearing socks with sandals?

...but I need to wear socks to cover up my hairy toes.... I don't want to hear strangers call out 'oi, hobbit-features' any more, it's most distressing.

I had my ankle removed as a child and have a permanent limp as a result

I think you lot are being really really horrid and bullying people like me who can't help the way they walk

next you will be resurrecting the taunting and name calling that I received in my teens

You lot can all go and take a running hop

    • The sticker I was given at Kristal in December said Pfizer/Cominarty.  I see it now comes in ten-packs of preloaded syringes, and though initially stored ultra-cold, can be delivered and stored for up to ten weeks at 2-8 degrees C, and then kept at 8-25 degrees for no more than twelve hours. Sue, I've not checked just now, but I suspect you'll find your vaccine details in your online NHS records.
    • look online - you can get a garage to attend the test drive with you - so you can get some support once you get that far.  I can't comment on reputable dealerships - I would probably not buy from the same place that does the test drive with you though
    • Hey everyone, I’m currently on the hunt for a second-hand car and thought I’d reach out to the forum for some advice. I’m particularly looking for a U-LEZ compliant automatic hatchback, so if anyone is selling or knows of a good deal, I’d love to hear about it! Also, if you have any general tips on buying a second-hand car — things to watch out for, red flags, or recommendations on trustworthy dealerships — I’m all ears! Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!
    • I had the covid vaccination at TJ a couple of weeks ago or so and checking the card they gave me it says Spikevax which is Moderna.  Edit: just seen you had your jab in the pharmacy whereas I had mine in the first floor premises arranged by ECPS. I have heard/read that all vaccinations are Moderna this time round.
