Hi.

I have played in bands for 17 years or so and used to regularly gig all over the place. I gave up about a year and a half ago when I became a father so that I didn't hold my, then, band back. But really miss it. I'm coming up 32, play guitar and sing a bit and I am mainly interested in stuff like Brand New, Hell is for Heroes, Rueben etc... If you're in a similar boat to me, can sing, play guitar, bass or drums then drop me a line.

You don't have to be the best player in the world, just enjoy what you do and be competent enough to keep time.

Any questions, contact me.

If you want an idea of what I've done before check out the now defunct www.myspace.com/hedstrongmusic

Thanks.

Will.

Or indeed a comic strip.

Peter Patrick Potter was the luckiest schoolboy in the world. After being cursed by Gypsies when she refused to buy clothes pegs from them, his grandmother Florrie Potter was turned into an internationally reknowned stuntman.

When Florrie was around adventures and high jinks were the order of the day...

A gypsy curse, a one-eyed monkey villain and Stuntma?s glorious demise in a failed attempt to jump the No12 in her mobility cart. Released as a musical comic book, heavy on the zapstick humour.

Not sure playing trendy-hardcore will be quite surreal enough for this band you?re starting Will. Perhaps something more in the style of, Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, would be more fitting?

And a tiger sidekick with the voice of Leslie Phillips for Moos. He could be called Pete.

Every time he appears on screen a version of Mud's Tiger feet, cunningly adapred to Tiger Pete could accompany him.

See if can get Motorhead to cover it.

    • A random post, but I was just wondering if anyone was friends with my late father Mr David Bryan? I had a pretty broken relationship with him, but I would love to connect with any of his former friends. He lived on Waldram Park Road, Forest Hill for many years, but also used to live in East Dulwich on/off in the late 90s. He used to use the bookies/betting shops in Forest Hill quite a lot. Unfortunately, he passed away suddenly in September 2015 but I hadn't seen him for several years prior to his death.
    • Thank you, that's what the bus driver said when I handed it to him. It is how I was raised.
    • I am really not finding your comments at all helpful. Could you just please stop comment you are upsetting me. I finally received a telephone appointment on 1st April. I am in pain. After a number of questions from the GP, I am told I need to be examined. Nearest appointment slot almost a week away. Attended the appoint. Told I need hospital tests. the day after the referral I visited the clinic and explained I was in pain and could i have an appointment. Was lucky as there was a cancellation. I attended, now I have to wait for the results to be sent back to the GP. Nothing showing on My Chart so I guess i will have to continue to wait. On Monday it will be a month since I last raised this problem.
