Our lovely nanny is available from August-position now filled

Recommended Posts

As I am expecting no3 we will no longer need our lovely nanny from early August. She has just completed her Ofsted registration and renewed her paediatric first aid course at the end of April. I really struggled to find a nanny that I was happy with and I can honestly say that I do not worry about the kids for a second when I am at work. Our nanny is incredibly good with the children. She is incredibly calm and warm and loving to them. She takes them on play dates and to groups and cooks healthy meals, making sure they have plenty of fruit and vegetables throughout the day. My 4 year old and 1 year old are thriving in her care.

I am gutted as it took me many attempts to find our nanny (I had two that started that I was not happy with). Before working for us she worked in a local nursery for several years so she is incredibly experienced at dealing children, and knows how to stimulate them. Her background in child care demonstrates her genuine interest in working with children, which was very important to me. She was our daughters key worker and my daughter (who is incredibly fussy and voiced her opinion of staff) adored her at nursery as did her friends. We have known her for over three years and she is 100% trustworthy.

I have no doubt that she would quickly gain the trust and affection of any child.

She currently works 3 long days for us, but is flexible on days and open to a nanny share. Exact potential start date tnc. Position now filled.

    • As a result of the Horizon scandal it now seems very clear that the Post Office management are highly disingenuous and not be trusted!  There needs to be a campaign launched to challenge the threatened closure, unless the Post Office can demonstrate beyond doubt that the branch is loss making - and even then it could argued that better management could address this. I hope the local media take this up and our MP  and a few demonstrations outside wouldn’t do any harm. Bad publicity can be very effective!
    • Unlikely. It would take a little more than a bit of Milton to alter the pH of eighty-odd thousand gallons of water.
    • It actually feels as though what I said is being analytically analysed word by word, almost letter by better. I really don't believe that I should have to explain myself to the level it seems someone wants me to. Clearly someones been watching way too much Big Brother.
    • Sadly they don't do the full range of post office services
