Oh I hate that too! I also hate it when you put something down for 1 second and someone comes to grab it away.

i look pretty hot in an ironing board though.

cept when it traps a boob when you are trying to collapse it. as happened the other day - hence the irrational - or perhaps given the circumstances perfectly rational - rage. and pain. serves me right for ironing.

Lay the empty cover flat on the bed, with the opening at the bottom.

Push the quilt into it, shoving the two top corners of the quilt towards the two top corners of the cover. Make sure the quilt is not twisted.

Hold one top corner in each hand, with the cover and the quilt both held firmly.

Shake.

Adjust the bottom corners.

Close the bottom opening.

Simples :)

Well, works for me anyway .....

If you find any of my socks, let me know, I have a whole pile of single socks :))

If you lay the quilt down flat as well (if there's space) before you start, so its top end is next to the quilt cover bottom end, if you see what I mean, it helps it not to get twisted.

But yeh, must admit, putting on quilt covers is not my favourite thing either .....

i have finally figured out what the problem is. i am not a real woman. but this video will help me. and any other lacking women out there.

Sue, if you get bored try this, start with the duvet cover inside out, put your hand inside down into one of the bottom corners and grab the bottom corner of the duvet and pull it through, repeat for other side*...job done.

    • Is it? Let's see  Farming is a tough gig with increasingly lower returns, if farms have to sell off land to pay inheritance tax it will reduce their ability to survive. Which in real terms could mean more farm land lost and more reliance on imported food which sees money flowing out, not in to the country.  But I guess as long as you get cheap food that doesn't concern you 😉  Lol "what about the cars"  again Mal... like a broken record....  Governments know that squeezing car drivers for more fuel duty will drive down income from taxes as people switch to electric, which would leave them with a black hole in income. Guess the fuel duty is a fine balancing act tiĺl enough electric cars have been sold to raise tax revenue from their use.
    • Hello - if anyone is in need of sofa/rug/carpet cleaning, we have recently had a very good experience with husband and wife team Kate and Vlad. They're a very reasonable cost and the result was great (don't look too closely at the colour of the water that comes out!) Kate's number is 07731 140246
