Alan Medic
I presume most threads are started by blow ins. Why would this one particularly upset you Grok? Seems harmless to me. Anytime I'm tempted to add to it I think that I'm probably not a groovy fucker and I really would only want to show what great taste in music I have. KidKruger
The bloke serving in one of the LL cafes who, when totalling the bill and telling me how much it comes to, just says "ELEVEN" (or whatever the amount is).Am I already old-fashioned in still expecting (and thinking polite) "that's eleven pounds please" (or words to that effect) ? lavender27
This is not quite a tiny little thing that causes me irrational rage, it is probably a big issue for all. "doctors" when you are sitting in their "office" and they stare and type on their pc while the consultation is taking place, it's as if you are talking to an empty space or the wall. I hate it. You could be complaining about having 8 heads and they wouldn't look at you, they would just type 'patient has 8 heads'. No eye contact, no good bedside manner anymore. I tried facing the other way one time and was told off for having challenging behaviour. huh Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5840-tiny-little-things-that-cause-you-irrational-rage/page/177/#findComment-1052608 Share on other sites

lavender27
If they are experienced doctors they shouldn't have to google symptoms, I know you are only joking ????, I could google my own symptoms and not go to the doctors. Having no bedside manner lacks communication between patient and gp. DulwichFox
I had a problem with my arm.. It was locked an very painful. several doctors at DMC just gave me Diclofenac.. Then one doctor there Googled the symptoms and found the problem.. It was actualy a Frozen Shoulder. Afrozen shoulder is extreemly painful and goes through 3 stages over a 18 month period. Eventually I was given a Hydrocortison injection which after about 4 days freed up my arm.. I was told it would last 6 months but 10 years on the problem has not returned.. Most if not all GP.s use the internet. steveo
With only ten minutes per patient, plus house calls and paperwork, they don't get time to look at you sympathetically. If you want that, campaign to grant them a bit more time or watch Holby Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5840-tiny-little-things-that-cause-you-irrational-rage/page/177/#findComment-1052783 Share on other sites

You got 20 min + back then.. You just went to DMC .. sat down and took your turn 8 + doctors back then no appointment need. lavender27
they shouldn't rely on the internet. Did they not go to medical school? Next time I will google my symptoms and get the diagnosis and deal with it myself or just go and ask for the prescription max 2 minutes with doctor, no eye contact needed, they can just keep their head stuck in the computer. What I am actually talking about is face to face communication with a doctor. Yes they should be given more time with the patient and afterwards write up their notes.
