Sweaty smelly non professional part time 'footballers' that appear everynight of the week in every pub in ED. You look ridiculous in your footy kit plus boots, and you stink. If you wont or cant shower after your 'game' then don't come into the pub being malodourous and idiotic.

The use of "this one" to describe the other person (boyfriend or girlfriend usually), animal or thing in a person's facebook selfie/status, when keeping you up to the second informed of their activity.

E.g., "About to tackle Ikea with this one" or "Nothing better than a walk along the canal with this one".

AARGGGGHHHHHHHHHH.

Change to gmail?

Hotmail is so 1990s :))

Hotmail is bad, admittedly.

But Gmail is just f'ing atrocious. I'm not sure there could be a more cack-handed way to do email. One sodding big folder and everything 'tagged'. And the added bonus of not actually deleting emails when you access via IMAP (whicjh you use to get away from Gmail stupid web interface), but just hiding them so they still take up space and you have no idea where your 15GB went. The whole damn thing was designed by a masochistic madman with a migraine.

(In case you wondered, I'm not a fan).

Seriously Sue? *rolls eyes

gmail is good as a phone app, agree about the silly hiding things Loz but at least the spam filters are darn good in comparison to bloomin' hotmail.

I'm only grrr as it's just junk emails that I get anyway :-(

Brand new summer skirt caught on rear brake block of bike and shredded - infuriating. Just don't understand material sometimes - got a pair of tights I've worn regularly for five years, which have survived cycling, tights-eating zips on boots, getting caught up in a bracelet and even falling over.

    • The year of Councillor Naima Ali's tenure as Southwark Mayor comes to a close on Saturday. Her energy and enthusiasm have made her a popular local figure and she has been dubbed the Hugging Mayor and sometimes the Dancing Mayor. She talked with Chris Haydon on PECKHAM PODCAST about her life journey, FGM and being proud to be British:
    • It's started. And seeing it just now made me feel genuinely a bit flat and sad.
    • I'd forgotten about that place.  It wasn't a market as such, it was just run by one  couple. They did have some quite interesting things. I still have a mirror I got from there, which had been  put inside an old painted  shuttered window frame from somewhere in India. Mumbai I think. There also used to be occasional indoor  markets in the church hall where the cinema now is, next to where the Irish shop used to be. But if memory serves they were usually either jumble sales (do they still exist?) or craft sales before Christmas. There have also been occasional indoor markets at the church hall in Dulwich Village and the church hall at the church in Barry Road up by the Plough. There never seemed to be many people buying things at them. But it does all depend on what is being sold, whether it appeals to the local demographic,  where the market is located and how it is publicised. And, obviously,  whether it is profitable for the traders.
    • How the hell did Mad maxxi do that given the state of the rest of us?
