Does anyone know which is the nearest Southwark Council recycling centre to East Dulwich?

I tried to find this info on the Southwark Council website but

- their website has a dead link to 'find out about your local recycling centre' (404 error);

- their website has a non-link (marked as a link but isn't) to borough recycling centres;

Then I tried calling them, three times, but

- their call centre is fairly hopeless (staff say they can't access the Web, as if that would solve their problem; their 'systems' are apparently yet again 'down'; they can't tell me where any recycling centres are in the borough at all as they don't have that information.

- I was cut off twice inadvertently when they tried to transfer me to someone who might know.

50 minutes not well spent.

louisiana - not sure if it's your browser but the southwark website worked first time for me

I guess it depends on what you want to recycle - the small stuff or the big stuff. I use the one by the Hospital on east Dulwich Grove

    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
    • GP not willing to refer you on? Say, to King's or similar. Odd
