Keef
Quote have you had "The Singing Detective" & "I, Claudius" from the Beeb? There's also two series of "Rome" of course.... I actually watched the whole of I Claudius quite recently, about a month after rewatching Rome. It was quite handy that the former actually starts just 30 odd years after the latter leaves off.I love I Claudius, so funny, and so many evil evil women! ibilly99
Tommy agree totally mexico - keep it futile.Talking of futile - what about the box set of DVD's Obama gave to GB http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/mandrake/5011941/Gordon-Brown-is-frustrated-by-Psycho-in-No-10.html Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5807-dvd-boxsets-what-are-the-best-series-at-the-mo/page/2/#findComment-186750 Share on other sites
SimonM
Hardly "futile", given that so many DVD players these days are multi-region. Press conjuring up a non-story yet again! Moos
Not really a fan of Westerns either (SeanMac and Huguenot) but I loved Lonesome Dove. Try it. SeanMacGabhann
I did try it Moos and wasn't a fan - but that was quite some time ago. Moos
Well, now I'm revealing my embarrassingly geeky side - so I hope you appreciate it Huguenot - but have you seen The Blue Planet?Edited for poor English. Still poor, but can't be bothered to rephrase. Siduhe
Megastructures and/or Monarchy (parts 1 and 2)? Depends what you're in to really. Note that some of the international (non-UK) versions of the Monarchy DVDs appear to be abridged.
