switching back to earlier version of BT yahoo email - anyone help ? or at least commiserate ?

Recommended Posts

I have a @btinternet.com email address . The account has upgraded itself ( or someone in the household has given it permission to upgrade ) and I would love to go back to the previous version .

I can return to basic but that seems to lack a lot of features that I use - spellcheck ,inserting links .

I've looked online at suggestions but they vary a great deal and seem complicated .I'm nervous that if I embark down the route of changing screen resoloutions etc that I'll mess up and cause further problems .

Anyone help me ?

not the homepage ,the format of the emails .It's now difficult to tell/much less obvious which emails have been "read"/opened and there's this weird display in the sender display which refers now to the history of the email so it appears as " me ,me ..."

I imagine I'll adapt ,it's more the not being able to control what I'm using .Another symptom of my advancing years ,sigh...

    • Yes, it would be great to see them nationalised. Along with the other water companies they seem to have a great business model: -submit a 5 year plan to the regulator asking for yearly price increases to cover the cost of improving the infrastructure and get them to approve it - carry on paying handsome dividends to shareholders and eye watering salaries to senior executives  - fail to achieve the infrastructure targets at the end of the five years, make some excuses and draw up the next plan Magic!
    • Avoid KFH. Agree with other comments that it is best to talk to lots of people.  Also, (not particularly related to the above agent), I wish I had read the reviews a lot more, rather than relying on numbers.  Depending on whether you are renting, letting, selling or buying the reviews often differ a lot depending on the relationship you have with the agent and it is worth checking whether the good/bad reviews match your situation.
