Hi all - From the O2 site it looks like ?100 for the phone and ?35 per month (for 600 mins calls). Does anyone know if it's possible to get a better deal than this? Also - can I transfer my number from Orange? Is 02 reception ok? And are Apple bringing out a better version soon? Cheers! Adam

No I don't, but it's essentially O2 only in UK

Yes

Is 02 reception ok?

Depends where you are

And are Apple bringing out a better version soon? Cheers! Adam

New operating system 3.0 out now where the iphone miraculousy gets mms! As far hardware updates there's an oft discussed iphone nano, and I've seen sources talking about iphone business and home models but as of now no idea.

Hi Adam

If your main concern is cost, I think you it's possible to 'refurbished' iphones from o2 on a cheaper contract. You'll need to phone 02 to get exact details though.

There are lots of rumours re a new iphone coming out this summer (if so, it prob would be announced in June and available in UK in July). I also want an iphone but am going to wait until June at least as I reckon that by then we'll have a bit more certainty about the possible upgraded hardware.

02 reception has always been fine for me (I'm with 02 at the moment).

    • It's interesting how local businesses and the people that own / work in them are not considered part of the "community". The dictionary says "a group of people living in the same place" as the principal definition. Why are we forced to accept a secondary definition where those who don't live in social housing, the vast majority of people in East Dulwich, are told to shut up?

    • If weeds are allowed to grow for too long they lift pavements and create obvious tripping hazards. Obviously removing them from your wall and/or garden is unacceptable.
