Weighting by Extraordinary Bodies in Dulwich Park 8/9/10 May 2015

In the beautiful Dulwich Park on 8, 9 and 10 May join Extraordinary Bodies, Southwark Events and a mass community choir for the premiere performance of Weighting.

Weighting is an extraordinary show about an extraordinary family living in a grey world of routine and simplicity. Across the bridge the world is full of colour, excitement and music. However to get to the other side the family have to risk everything.

Weighting is brought to you by Extraordinary Bodies, the UK's only integrated circus company with disabled and non-disabled artists. The show takes place on a 12 metre by 12 metre rig which suspends the simple and transformative set, from bridge to staircase, swinging and lifting the seven strong company high into the air. Weighting fuses music, circus and dance with a beautiful musical score written by Dom Coyote (Kneehigh, BAC) and Ted Barnes (Beth Orton) and performed by a five-piece band.

*There will be food and drink available to buy on the weekend (but not on the Friday).
