AllforNun
Blimey - shrink that hyena by a half and put a tail on it and you are certainly getting close............much sandier fur though Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5759-peckham-rye-mystery-with-tail/page/2/#findComment-185968 Share on other sites
Brendan
So it was something similar to a spotted hyena but smaller and with a tail. The 2 things that spring to mind are:An Aardwolf: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aardwolf Or a Strandwolf (brown hyena): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_hyena Or an Alsatian. Getting warmer?Or, and I?m keeping this option open, someone slipped you some LSD. Not sure what either of those would be doing on Peckham Rye though as they are both from Africa.
