Blimey - shrink that hyena by a half and put a tail on it and you are certainly getting close............much sandier fur though

So it was something similar to a spotted hyena but smaller and with a tail.

I too spotted something similar to the animal in description a few years ago but in the woodlands behind Surrey Quays,SE16

Definately was not a regular cat and it really scared me to be honest lol
