SEEKING: 2 month Short Let for Couple & Kitties

Hi there, I'm Christopher and my girlfriend is Jenny.

Jenny is coming over from NY with her two kitties Daniel and Devonshire - clean, calm, house trained and claw-gloved - and we are looking for a short let from end of May to mid July while my tenants leave my flat for us to move back into. We have friends in the area so East Dulwich/Peckham Rye would be ideal. I work at a fin tech company by St Pauls and Jenny works from home in recruitment, and as homeowners ourselves we will treat any place like home. The cats are house cats and don't ever go outside, and really just sleep most of the time, but are clean and house trained.

Let me know if any of this suits! - Christopher

    • Maybe they have changed the system, or maybe I've just forgotten how it works. Mine was installed as a one off after I requested it (having worked out that it would save money). Yes, it would seem odd for Thames Water to install a meter which wasn't requested,  but then not to communicate anything at all to the house occupants, especially if neighbours in the same road said they didn't have a meter! I'm wondering what TW said to EDmummy101 when she contacted them?
    • "Vegetarians won't miss out as there will also be a radish & egg mayo milk bun on offer too." It's a meat shop so I suppose don't expect too much.
    • Anyone got one to sell?
    • The two most likely reasons for over-turning would either be  speed or loading related (possibly both). A burst tyre at just the wrong time (during a turn) might also cause this, but I think these lorries have doubled-up tyres. [The photo shows the tyres intact, so it won't be that] The other main reason for large vehicles over-turning (caught by wind) is unlikely on this occasion.
