Roxcyzarzar
Not sure if anyone is missing a Siamese cat but thought I'd post this here just incase. I've just seen a lovely siamese cat inside Harris boys school trying to find his/her way out. (This was at the same time Harris boys were coming out of school roughly 15:10-1520hrs)The poor cat was badly hobbling/limping along on one of he/she's back legs or could've even been the cats hip out of socket??? But whatever has happened to the poor cat it doesn't look good at all and I'm sure needs to go to the vets ASAP. I couldn't go over to the cat as every time I tried the cat would run/hoop away. I tried to call the cat over to catch it but it seemed a little nervous so I backed off a bit as I didn't want to frighten it any more then it was. The cat managed to get out of the school via the black gates at the side (at the end side of friern road) he/she then ran under a parked car and from that point I kind of lost sight of the cat.I really do hope the cat finds it's way home Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/57130-siamese-cat-with-an-injuried-back-leg/ Share on other sites
Delainie
My brother just called me to say he saw a Siamese cat on frien road limping badly. Wonder if it lives around there. Anyone know if someone on frien rd owns a Siamese cat with bad limp??Think I'll call neighbourhood vets incase it's one of their patients. pommie
See if a rescue centre can help you catch this cat Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/57130-siamese-cat-with-an-injuried-back-leg/#findComment-911538 Share on other sites
Pickle
I see that cat a lot down the end of Friern. He/she is very timid for a Siamese (I grew up with Siamese cats, my Mum's ones are very vocal and brave), and despite coaxing I've never managed to get it to come out and see me. It often sits under cars on the stretch of road.I think it must live in one of the houses, as I tend to look out for it, and see it a few times a week at least. Bonkers
Hi everyone, this beautiful Siamese is our cat and we live on Friern Road. He frequently visits the playground at Harris Boys as we live opposite the school. Please let it be known he is a very well loved cat and is very well looked after and has a loving home with another Siamese cat at the same address. He was run over last summer, hence the limp. He has had reconstructive surgery and is currently happy and healthy. He is not subdued, but a very friendly a happy boy. We love him dearly and very concerned about people feeling they need to rescue him. Thank you. Pickle
Thanks for posting, Sheree. I thought he must have a home down that way as I see him so often, great to hear that is the case. Bonkers
Thank you. He is due to have further surgery on his knee next week which we hope will help the joint work better and reduce the limp. Thank you to everyone who is concerned about him, but he genuinely does come from a very loving home.
