I priced one up recently in St Christopher's Hospice shop - great condition with all the attachments but that was about 10 days ago so it could be gone. If you are passing - check the bric a brac section. I am in working tomorrow so I will see if it is still there but stuff in that shop sells so fast.

      Their website says: “This store is temporarily closing for refurbishment on the 24th December after closing time. We expect to reopen, bigger and better, in the middle of February 2025.”

      My partner told me the other day that he had seen some in Southwark Park, and he had never seen any there before. I've only ever seen them near water, eg by the stream on the walk between Merton and Carshalton. Hoping I might get some in the garden now, it would make a nice change from sparrows, great tits and the robin, lovely as they are 😀

      Thanks, I'll call them.  I don't think the letters would be sent out from the shop, so it's more likely that the info line would know.
