Goodness, just seen this thread..hilarious ! apart from being a "pink convert" (might own that one) I must check with my sister to make sure it's ok that myself and my Civil partner/husband can still see my niece and nephew before the watershed.

I must also start watching all the soaps, I mean what the hell are the gays up to before the watershed that straight characters aren't ? sounds saucy ;)

It's simply a matter of choices which are largely dictated by the way some people are wired.

It's all very well to indulge a little;

- Some may do so to see how the other half lives,

- Some in a spirit of experimentation - dipping a toe into waters they've been told aren't for them and finding they like it,

- Some in an all-embracing attempt to get to grips with modern Britain,

- Some through sheer ennui

- And some because it's been their guilty, pleasurable secret for years and now they feel it's more mainstream and they can talk openly about it.

But when all is said and done there can really not be ANY excuse for watching Emmerdale, Eastenders, Coronation Street AND Hollyoaks.

I like 'pink convert', but I'm wondering whether it addresses those of a lesbionic persuasion..? Most of the saturated gay ladies of my acquaintance are not so much the pink.

I'm mostly hetero (please can we have that second e) but I'd like to think of myself as s Mauve Medusa for any moments I may find myself daydreaming about Selma Hayek. Perhaps the gay saturation is more of an Ecru Exchange.

Yes. She's been having an affair with Cora Cross for years.

And Jamie and Ben are at it, as are Roxy and Shabnam, Lola and the young woman who works in the pub, and obviously Sharon and Linda.

Re Phil: after he was buried alive (which happens *all the time in London*) he had a sexual epiphany and started a relationship with Mick from the pub. Mick's wife doesn't know yet, though.

It looks like the gay mafia are operating on the forum .

It was Max who was buried not Phil Mitchel.

Some of my work does involve t.v review and monitoring.

I am not gay, sorry to dissapoint I know some of you were hoping.Had any wins lately Bob,and red devil may i call you pink devil now.

I knew Louisa would,nt stay guiet long, now everyones on my case shes came out of her hidey hole hoping people have forgot her rants.

I don't hang with the grammar police usually, but a comma instead of an apostrophe represents a whole new depth of dumb. What do you eat soup with? A coat hanger?

Whether or not they look too butch? Have stubble showing? Or is it a simple march strut past in full regalia (medals on show)?

I'm guessing the second part is more a case of how many look clumpy in heels?

    • We tried Chilli and Garlic and found them very friendly and the food was nice. Fresh orange juice, babaganoush and hummus to take away. Had a falafel wrap which was tasty - they also do halloumi and chicken. Hope they do well with the footfall to Gail’s as a little tucked away there.
    • What is the phone number ., can you get recorded or registered service?
    • Apologies if this has already been mentioned as it's a very long thread. While it would be a great shame if post offices closed down for people that need them, is everyone aware of this service? I didn't know about it until this week. https://send.royalmail.com/ I had to send a small package and it was difficult for me to leave the house so i ordered online for the item to be picked up - it was £3.35 for a small package so i don't think significantly pricier than if I'd done it over the PO counter. And it was totally seamless, I didn't even have to print a label they bring one to your door to stick on when they collect the package. Highly recommended.
    • Not sure if this is exactly nature, but does anyone else have Holboellia in their garden? It's an absolute thug of an evergreen climber, and it seems to grow at about a metre a minute in all directions,  but it redeems itself at this time of year when it's flowering. The scent is absolutely wonderful, even with just a few flowers presently out, and I can even smell it inside the house. Apologies to anyone whose garden mine  has wandered into, but do take a moment to appreciate the scent before you cut it back! ETA: I have a zillion things to do, but I'm sitting in the garden watching the insects.  One very small hovering thing with apparently no brain (or whatever passes for a brain in insects) just flew to my Libertia, attempted to do something with a load of unopened buds, failed, moved to a just beginning to open bud, failed, and then flew off,  completely ignoring all the open flowers on the same plant. Maybe it's a reincarnation of someone like Trump.
