Crucial as many locals sign this petition as possible, even if your child/ren dsnt attend (mine dsnt either) we all need to stand together and stop the council selling off precious land for profit.


See the example of Dog Kennel Hill Primary School - they used to have a huge playground, look at it now, full of housing.


Shocking.

Yes always good to retain valuable land. I am not sure of your example though - The housing development (under which the school has a large dinner hall/performance area, art rooms and smaller specialist class rooms as well as special needs equipped washrooms, used to house the old school dinner prep areas and a derelict house. The area built on was never part of the playground.


They managed to retain most of the playground, gain nice new facilities, as well as provide in the air space social housing.
