Would like to recommend Chris to anyone who needs Aerial work, he came within 24 hrs of me calling, said he could fix the old Aerial I had, didn't try to sell me new one, but I decided to go with a new Aerial & Cables. Nice fella, very polite, very helpful answering all my questions, and surprisingly reasonable with the price. Call: 020 8659 3772 ask for Chris

Seconded. I have been living with a TV that only showed a few crappy channels (Sky News, London Live and QVC) for a year. Chris came round and installed a new aerial on the roof, wired it up and checked it all. It took him less than an hour and came in under ?100 all in. I now have got all the freeview channels including the HD channels. I just wish I hadn't waited a year to get it sorted!

      The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?

      Generator running in The Gardens/Dominic Court

      Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.

      Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
