Bought some great bread today at reasonable price from Peckham Cart Project which is sited between a bra stall and a threading stall in the Aylesham Shopping Centre - not what you'd expect, think it used to be a candy floss stall.

Bread is delicious. Stall is run as a social enterprise project in partnership with Flour City Bakery generating revenue for the Southwark Refuge and Migrant Project. The man I spoke to was very knowledgable and clearly passionate about his product. Recommend.

That's probably Manuel (Frenchman? Glasses?), one of the chief bakers at FP bakery; love their bread, especially the dark Baltik loaf and the rye sourdough. They're there (usually him or his son) Wed-Sat and are hoping to open up in the nearby restaurant/caf? unit and also teach baking.

Different selection every day - usually alongside a couple of standards like granary/rye but they make such a range of breads it'd be hard to get them all on that little cart.

I quite like that though - never sure what bread I'm going to buy until I get there and have ended up trying something I may not otherwise have bought - e.g. they had potato bread and rosemary bread on Friday.
