Indiepop Tots - an Indiepop disco for parents and carers with under 5s - 11am Sunday 12th April

Recommended Posts

We're holding our second ever Nimble Arts Indiepop Tots disco, at the NINES in Peckham (Copeland Estate) at 11am on Sunday 12th April! It's a disco for parents, carers and their under 5s...It?s a disco for parents, carers with their 5s and under (babes in arms very welcome!). We?ll be playing an eclectic and invigorating mix of up-beat indie pop, 60s girl groups, Motown and indie rock for you and your kids to shake your thing to. This will include the likes of Belle & Sebastian, Love, New Order, The Shangri-Las, The Magnetic Fields, Stereolab, The Ronettes, Apples in Stereo, The Velvet Underground, Jens Lekman and Jonathan Richman? Probably no Frozen, but we might get the bubbles out!

We?ll have some Nimble Arts crafts activities on site too, and the NINES has a licensed bar and does a mean array of food and snacks with tables aplenty for hearty lunches.

?6 per adult or ?10 for two, plus ?1 per child. We've only 30 tickets left, and will probably sell out in advance - tickets from: http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=1070

    • This sounds hellish.  Have you thought of contacting BBC local news, both TV and radio as well as the ITV local news?   There is a known shortage of midwives so it’s sad that you are having to stop work.  Woman’s Hour on Radio 4 would be another programme.
    • Yet another recommendation for John and Gabi at Top Marx kitchens. Our very old built in fridge freezer broke and we could not find a suitable replacement that would fit the space.  John was able to come round very quickly and advise on the best course of action.  He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, timely and responsive....and a very nice guy.  Gabi is excellent at keeping the momentum going with booking appointment times etc.  I have no hesitation in recommending Top Marx Kitchens.
    • No they’re playing with each other if they’re the two completely under control Stafford I see there regularly with their guy.
    • Ive just moved to Woodside near south Norwood, have been an artist for 24 years full time and now have a lovely studio in my house and un-blanded period features ...wood panelling, huge garden, and a walk in larder.....love it. lived in east Dulwich 15 yers ago but  it went a bit corporate!  Which is fine but I didnt fit. here there are lots of parks everywhere, and the most lovely peace, trams to Wimbledon.  Lots of creatives moving to here as it is on orange line to hoxton and they can buy a house here.....I hope you find a lovely area and house! xxx
