DNAFit - genetic testing for fitness and diet

Recommended Posts

DNAFit is the cutting edge technology that's about to revolutionise the fitness world. Bodyshot Personal Training Ltd are introducing these exciting new products because we feel that this is the logical next step for anyone interested in making the most of their exercise and dietary efforts. The results of the tests essentially remove the guesswork that sometimes both clients and personal trainers have to do when putting together diet and nutrition plans. Spend your time and effort following a diet plan that is completely tailored to your genetic profile.

DNAFit Fitness Diet Pro is a genetic test which looks at two subsets of approximately 30 dominant genes. One subset relates to fitness and the other to diet. (If you only want the dietary test then DNAFit Diet Pro is the product for you). The test is conducted by one of our personal trainers using a mouth swab and takes less than a minute. We then return the sample to the DNAFit laboratory in the UK, where they analyse the results and return them in a PDF report that is emailed back to the trainer within 10 days. We then arrange the consultation with you to analyse the results and what it means for your diet and exercise plan.

DNAFit will help you understand:

What's the right diet for me?

How does my body respond to carbohydrate and saturated fat?

What is my salt, caffeine and alcohol sensitivity?

Am I optimising my workouts by training according to my genetic makeup?

What's my vitamin and micronutrient intake like?

What is my injury risk profile and ideal recovery times?

If you're interested in learning more about DNAFit and how it could help you, please go to www.bodyshot-pt.co.uk/dnafit or send an email to [email protected] and one of the team will come back to you.

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
