Victor and Carl came on Saturday to do a few small jobs for me - mending a door lock, fixing a leak and fixing a broken outside pipe. I was very impressed! They were really efficient, diagnosed the problems straight away, and even came up with ideas/solutions I would never have thought of. They were very polite and considerate and excellent value for money, I will definitely employ them again and highly recommend them!

Hello, I don't suppose you have availability tomorrow please? We've been let down and need a bike shed and garden shed (neither large) taken down, I imagine fast with and electric screwdriver? We're moving house on Monday! Please DM me if interested. I can send photos.

Thanks

Catherine

Coming on to bump this topic; have just discovered these guys through a recommendation from a friend and OMG they are the BEST. So fast, so efficient, such high quality and totally reasonable - just brilliant. Thanks so much!

Def. workers who measure twice and cut once

Discuss work to be done with you pointing out the pros and cons of alterative methods and materials that can be used, came up with some we hadn't thought of.

Arrived on time - no idle chit chat or ciggie breaks, but got straight to work, wasalso impressed by their attention to detail.

Gonna ask Vic and his team to do more work in the summer, so happy with them that I won't even get any other quotes.

Just had Vic and son round for various jobs, a gutter cleared, an overmantle mirror rehung, bathroom grab rail fitted etc. They arrived on time, everything was promptly done in an hour, no mess and a reasonable rate.  I'll certainly use them again.

I don't bother to get quotes from any one else and now go straight to VIc

HI,

Another very happy customer here! Vic and his son hung a door, put up shelves, boxed in ugly pipes & added kickboards among other jobs. Extremely neat and precise work - they'll be my first call from now on.

Rory Stewart has a fascinating insight into the issues here - about the high cost of land and the low returns from farming and how this is anything but a few farms being affected. Well worth a listen for those that want to hear both sides of the argument.

    • Apparently the police took a call from a certain C Little.  I understand that it was difficult to hear the exact name as there was a lot of clucking in the background.  Various farm animals are helping with enquiries, worryingly a few foxes have been seen on the prowl so this may not end well.  I say police protection for C Little, now. Eagles and seagulls have also been seen on large numbers in the area.  I'd keep away as it could be carnage. Certainly watch your ice cream cornets and perhaps wear ear plugs. Not sure if this is anything to do with the local authority or the Labour government, no doubt someone will find a link.
