err, go to the address bar of your browser, press copy, go to your post, press paste.

I presume you want it interactive - i.e. a hyperlink.

Use the little "globe and paperclip" icon. Just paste the link and type a description. Bingo.

Pictures is another thing altogether.

And I'm not being flippant but it's the most commonly asked question in the About this Forum section.

Have a look over there for many a good explanation of how it's done, but it mainly involves that little picture of hills and a sun next to the italic button.
