My sister has just moved over there, with four kids, for her husband's job.

She's incredibly independent and bright but is struggling to find decent childcare and/or a smart way of eating healthy food, on a budget.

She never thought it would be *this* hard. Does anyone have experience of this and/or have advice on this or know anyone that's worked it all out?

I don't know if she's working or has the time but co-operative shops allow members to purchase very cheap, fresh food.

To become a member you have to work some shifts in the store but not many. One or two a week I think. If the kids are in school it might be feasible.
