Designer/builder recommendation

I am looking for a design/building company who can help with both interior planning and building/joinery for two room re-models in my house. One is a laundry room rip-out-and start again project and the other is a bathroom. Some structural work involved in the bathroom project (small wall removal). Mainly I want a company that can help me actually design the rooms too. I want someone who can look at my Pinterest boards and help me design a fantastic laundry room full of storage and maximising the space I have. I have the ideas, but I need someone with experience to help me work with the space. Then I want them to build it!

Can anyone recommend anyone? Thanks!

I can definitely recommend our architect Francesca Bailey (07968890642). We are doing some internal restructuring work on a 2-bedroom flat and she has come up with some great and very creative solutions - especially when it comes to maximizing space and creating storage space.

I am not sure if she has availability at the moment but you can always try :) The good thing is that she lives and works locally so quite easy to meet up as well.

As for the builders - that will have to wait for a recommendation as the works are just about to start :)

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
