EDT Food - can anyone recommend

Has anyone eaten in the EDT recently and had a good experience? Wanting to eat there before the comedy night on Thursday but mediocre reviews on trip advisor.

I think the food is not bad at all at the EDT - have had excellent fish cakes there and a great Chicken Caesar Salad recently. It is pretty straightforward food but nicely done in my opinion.

Food is not too bad...

Biggest problem is that The EDT is always busy with football / rugby..

..so can be difficult to find a seat these days...
