Blue Patch

Recommended Posts

Blue Patch are looking for a confident and friendly local person to join our team, part time.

Blue Patch (www.bluepatch.org) the sustainable British online marketplace, is looking for an energetic, well spoken person with a high level of written English, enthusiasm for good design and if possible, a keenness to help the environment. You would need computer skills including email and be open to learning.

The job entails working alongside the team (we will be on hand to help you ?grow into the role?). You will be researching and checking our potential business members, then phoning to ask if you can send them information. Eventually you'll do follow up calls too.

This is a fun job, all about friendly communication; it?s not ?hard sell'. Please see the Blue Patch website to see what we do.

Your communications will be via email, phone and sometimes face to face.

The job would be perfect for someone who wants to start back at work with family friendly, flexible working hours. We have a welcoming office in Herne Hill London SE24.

    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
    • We hired Hanson &Co to handle painting, floor sanding and general renovation work before moving into our new home, and we were very happy with the results. Andras and his team were fantastic to work with—professional, reliable, and efficient. We've since reached out to them for additional projects and we highly recommend their work!
    • Lost oyster card in black and green wallet somewhere between the bus stop at ED station, the bus and the train from Denmark Hill to Clapham Junction. Very annoying not last because I love the wallet.
    • I have always taken mine to the main St Christopher's shop, in a bin bag clearly marked "Rags". They have always accepted them. Clean items only, obviously.
