We are planning a two week holiday in the summer while we get some work done on our flat. Our son will have just turned 2, and is very active. His wonderful childminder takes him to loads of activities and he loves all the normal things - trains, fountains, soft play. We can't stay at home but don't know where else to go - we think he'd be bored with two weeks in a villa or a cottage, and we can't afford anything as extravagant as CentreParcs, as this will almost certainly be during the school holidays. We don't have a car but could hire one if necessary. Has anyone done anything similar, and can you recommend a holiday destination?
