community midwives question - SW9

Hello

I know not East Dulwich (sorry!), but have a pregnant friend in stockwell and she was wondering if any similar midwives to lanes, oakwood etc over that way...just asking on off chance someone might know? There is a tommies caseloading team but doesn't seem to cover sw9.

No. There is not any equivalent in the area.

It is covered by the community midwives from St Thomas' who just provide antenatal care in clinics and post natal care in the home.

Our midwife care the kings east team community team was excellent, obviously not the same as having a named midwife but really honestly can't fault the care we got.

I had my first when I was in SW9 with a shared caseload team working out of our GPs - the Clapham Family Practice. The model wasn't exactly the same as The Lanes, but very similar. This was 5yrs ago now though so could have changed.
