Hello

My baby daughter keeps getting conjunctivitis. The GP at DMC took a swab last week and I was asked to phone in for the results today, which I did. I was told it is 'normal'. When I asked what this means - do I carry on with antibiotics, do we need to do any further tests etc., I was told that the earliest a Doctor could talk me through it is next Friday (!) or I have to join the 75 million other people in the triage phone queue tomorrow when the lines open at 8am. Putting the shambles that is DMC aside for a moment, can any medics using this forum give me their qualified opinion? Caveat - I won't treat it as gospel/ will seek medical opinion from DMC when I eventually manage to get through. Thank you.
