I recently received a flyer through my door, normally throw them away but actually had a need to get my oven cleaned. I spoke to Cameron who owns the company and he informed me that his 72 year old dad delivers the flyers which instantly made me feel this could be a good company to use!

He spent around a hour and 15 minutes in the house, the floor was fully protected and he left the oven looking absolutely wonderful! I couldn't beleive how clean it came out. And he didn't use any harmful chemicals! My bulb was Broke and he replaced for free and it it came to ?45!

I'm really happy and would happily recommend his service his website www.eagleeyeovencleaning.co.uk his mobile 07947764357

I arranged for Eagle Eye Oven Cleaning to come last Friday to clean my oven.

These are the facts, make up your own mind:

His first words when I answered the door: "I'm feeling really rough, I'm a boxer in training"

He came into the house, didn't take his shoes off, had a quick glance at the oven, we left him to it in the kitchen. A few minutes later he came out, told us he wasn't able to clean the oven, even though it wasn't that dirty, as he felt too unwell due to boxing training, too much coffee and not enough food. He stood in the hall-way, swaying and clinging to the bannister.

He promised he would come back on Sunday (today) afternoon, needless to say he hasn't turned up, or notified us.

I am actually quite relieved.

    • Have you seen there is now information on the two notice boards in Camberwell Old Cemetery about the history of the cemetery and who is buried there

    • Unfortunately there are two ways of examining this, if we even had the figures. The first is simply to look at the revenues paid to the Council and see if the costs (in terms of setting it up and recovery from it, including administrative cost) are less than the revenues. This would be quite simple to do assuming we could agree the proper allocation of those costs. But additionally we have the amenity cost to those Southwark residents either (a) losing amenity value through e.g. disruption, and secondly losing amenity value by being excluded from parts of a public park for an extended period in summer. That is not a fiscal cost to the council and clearly they don't give a damn, but that would be the only way of judging whether this event was of overall net benefit to Southwark residents, the only people who the council should be 'working' for. Don't hold your breaths.
