fizzmoll
Hello Admin!I keep clicking on attachments (like images), expecting them to open in a new browser tab - instead the browser will keep the same tab, navigate away from the forum page and to the attachment.Have you ever considered adding a target=_new or similar to linked attachments? I think this may be more along the lines of typical UX expectations of today and I noticed that this is already the behaviour for links in posts. Would be awesome if it was doing the same with the attachments!Curious to hear if anyone else is thinking the same thing. Administrator Administrator Posted February 25, 2015 Administrator Share Posted February 25, 2015 If you right click and open in new tab it'll work. It'll also save me having to reprogramme the forum's software :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/54823-open-attached-images-in-new-browser-tab/#findComment-826223 Share on other sites
StraferJack
You can also hold down the CTL key as you click on the link. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/54823-open-attached-images-in-new-browser-tab/#findComment-826229 Share on other sites

Loz
Or, if you have a mouse with a wheel that doubles as a button (most do), push the wheel.
