Pubs that welcome kids...

That's always been a problem with Youngs pubs, they aren't child friendly unless they have a big garden out the back like the Woodhouse.

I don't think the Woodhouse could ever be considered "child-friendly".

Well it certainly used to be but perhaps that has changed recently. I remember under the previous management a few years back they used to have creche out in the back garden. A girl used to supervise the children while the parents were drinking. There was a climbing frame for the kids to play on, maybe that's all gone now. Been a while since I've been up there.
