After a bit of a break over half term, I'm back this week with more stories, cello tunes and songs. Full details (and you can book in for a class) are on the Nimble Arts website at http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=421!

This week we'll be venturing back into grotty princess territory, with the tale of the Frog Prince and the Golden Ball, plus plenty of songs and (of course!) some puppets and bubbles. Friday will be covered by Nimble Arts' own Catherine with a slightly different tale. Classes this week (and up until Easter are)

Mondays: 2pm, The Old Nuns Head (15 Nunhead Green) - under 5s

Wednesdays: The Ivy House, 40 Stuart Road

10am: 3-5s (younger siblings also welcome) - a livelier class for more active toddlers!

11am: 0-2s (or older toddlers who fancy a more sedate session!)

Fridays: 11am, The Peckham Pelican, 92 Peckham Road - under 5s

Drop in is ?6, and normally available so long as we have space! You can also book in advance at the website, and/or you can buy a 6-class flexicard for ?27 (which works out at ?4.50 per session).

Any questions, just drop me a line at [email protected]

Drop in and join us tomorrow underneath the glitter ball at the Ivy House for more stories, songs and cello tunes! First ones there get the comfy sofas!

10am: 3-5 year olds

11am: 0-2 year olds

?6 drop in, or buy a 6 class flexi-pass for ?27...you can book in online in advance at http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=421 or if you're feeling spontaneous, there will be space to drop in and join us!

Join us for Nimble Tales this week in SE15 for under 5s for stories, songs and cello tunes, plus of course lots of bubbles, puppets, silliness and scarves!

We've a slight change to our Wednesday session, as due to another event, we're instead at the lovely Waverley Arms (just round the corner at 202 Ivydale Road), and we'll only have an 11am session this week - the Wednesday is sometimes pretty busy, so if you're looking for a quieter session, don't forget our brand new class at the NINES on Tuesday morning.

Monday: 2pm, The Old Nuns Head, Nunhead Green

Tuesday: 11am, The NINES (Copeland Estate, directions http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=1094)

Wednesday: 11am, The Waverley Arms

Friday: 11am The Peckham Pelican

?6 for drop ins, or you can buy a 6-class flexi card for ?27 (works out ?4.50 per class, any 6 classes and no expiry date!). You can book your space online at http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=421, or drop in is available on a first-come-first-serve basis if you're feeling spontaneous!

Join us tomorrow morning at 11am for our newest Nimble Tales class, at the Nines, Copeland Industrial Estate, Peckham. The bar's a little tucked away, but it's just behind the Bussey building, near to the entrance to the yoga studios, and once you've found it there's great coffee, healthy (and less healthy!) snacks, and, of course, some magical stories, cello tunes, scarves and silliness!

x

Don't forget that for tomorrow only, instead of being at the Ivy House, we'll be just running an 11am session, and it'll be held at the Waverley Arms instead! This is just round the corner from the Ivy House!

This week it's all about a wolf that just wants to get his teeth in Little Red Riding Hood's cakes! Plus of course bubbles, scarves, cello tunes and lots and lots of animal puppets!

Becky x

We're back to normal times and venues this week for Nimble Tales, so drop in and join us to run as fast as we can with the Gingerbread Man!

After a slightly higgledy piggledy week last week of some extremely busy sessions, and some quieter ones, we've rejigged the class ages a little, and got our online booking system a little bit slicker if you want to reserve your space in advance at http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=421

This week we have the tale of Derek, the slightly nervous Dragon, who's getting a bit tired of everyone running away from him! With cello tunes, songs, shakers, scarves and bubbles, join us on..

Monday: 2pm at the Old Nuns Head - mixed ages

Tuesday: 11am at the NINES - mixed aged (N.B. this week's Tuesday class will be run by lovely Nimble Catherine and her clarinet!)

Wednesday: The Ivy House, Stuart Road - UPDATE!

10am - MIXED AGE CLASS

11am - 0-2s

As the 11am class has been getting pretty busy, and the 10am class pretty quiet, we're now opening the earlier class to younger folks too

Friday: 11am, The Peckham Pelican

More details in this week's Nimble Tots newsletter at http://eepurl.com/bg1loj, and any questions, do email [email protected].

Be lovely to see you and your little people this week!

x

Just a reminder that tomorrow's 10am class is now a mixed age session, as our 11am class has been getting pretty busy of late! Currently plenty of space available in both classes - you book your place in advance at http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=42 and drop in is available if we have room!

Tomorrow it's the tale of Derek the Dragon, who's a little bit tired of breathing fire and being green, he'd really rather be eating crumpets than princesses!

Join us under the glitter ball! x

Tomorrow we're at the Peckham Pelican at 11am, and we've still got some spaces available for the final outing of Derek the Dragon this week.

You can book in advance online (and I'm delighted when people do! As classes are getting busier, it's really helpful for knowing who's coming!), but there's also normally drop-in space if you're feeling spontaneous :)

It's ?6 for one-off, or ?27 (so ?4.50 a session) if you buy a 6-class flexi card (also valid for our Indiepop Tots toddler disco).

We'll also be running some classes over the Easter holidays - with our two Wednesday Ivy House classes still going. As it's my first time running holiday classes, I've no idea if these will be busier or quieter than usual, but advance booking will for the Easter sessions would guarantee your space (and please book in even if you have a flexi-card)

One week left of normal class times before Easter (during the holidays I'll just run our Wednesdays sessions at the Ivy House), and this week we'll be adventuring with Boris the Bird to try and convince the sun to put his hat on to welcome in spring time! Plus, as ever, the usual cello tunes, songs, bubbles and scarves!

As some classes are now getting pretty busy, you can book online to reserve your space at http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=421, and if there's space, drop in is normally available, at ?6 for a one-off class, or ?27 for a 6-class flexiplass. I'll update on spaces available on my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/NimbleTots

Classes this week:

Monday: 2pm at the Old Nuns Head - mixed ages

Tuesday: 11am at the NINES - mixed aged (N.B. this week's Tuesday class will be run by lovely Nimble Catherine and her clarinet!)

Wednesday: The Ivy House, Stuart Road - UPDATE!

10am - MIXED AGE CLASS

11am - 0-2s

As the 11am class has been getting pretty busy, and the 10am class pretty quiet, we're now opening the earlier class to younger folks too

Friday: 11am, The Peckham Pelican

Hope to see you and your little people!

The 11am class is 0-2s only, and the 10am is a mixed class! The 10am has been a little bit quiet recently, but tomorrow we've a fair few booked in so it'll definitely be going ahead!

Over the Easter holidays, I'll only be running Wednesday sessions at the Ivy House, with slightly different times (10.30 and 11.30). I've no idea if these will be busier or quieter than usual, so please book online to be sure of a space at http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=421

I'm going to still be running some sessions over the Easter hols - The Monday, Tuesday and Friday classes are taking a break, but this week on Wednesday we're revisiting one of my favourite ever Nimble Tales, the story of Rover, the Dog who thinks she's a Cat (inspired by a Nimble Arts musical project a year or so ago!)

Classes are this Wednesday 1st April, at the Ivy House (40 Stuart Road)

10.30 - 11.15: Mixed age class

11.30 - 12.15: 0-2s

Note slightly different times over the Easter break!

I've no idea if these will be busier or quieter than usual, so to guarantee a space, do book in at http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=421 - I'll pop something up here if we're full, otherwise drop in will be available.

10am: Mixed age

11am: 0-2s

I'm thinking of adding a 4pm session just for the summer holiday period (as we won't have the Monday or Friday classes running) - if anyone would theoretically be up for something at this time it'd be great to know (as I'm aware it's dangerously close to teatime!)

x

Book in online at http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=421 or looks like there should be drop in space available (first come first serve)

    • We went there yesterday for lunch, which was really delicious and excellent value. A starter plus a main is £11.95 for their "lunchtime special". Just a main is £8.95. We had excellent gyozas to start, then I had pad thai and my partner had a stir fry, both with tofu. They were large helpings,  freshly cooked, with fresh veg. There is the option to have chicken or beef (prawns are £2 extra) Also they now have Thai beer (Singha) on draught or in bottles (previously it was being your own alcohol). The service was also good. We were sorry and surprised not to see more people in there, particularly as there was a match on. It is really worth the short walk from Lordship Lane!
