SteveT
This forum is a big employer in the area and it creates industry.Loads of useful trades make profit from it.mlteenie with his 'ride to you' bicycle repairs, and boneyard's delivered upmarket meals, would have an uncomfortable time without it.It also supplies mirth to the masses and lets us all know there are people out there who are very concerned about a death in the family. louisiana
Where would we be without almost daily updates of Jacqui's armed police detail? Or HRH Harman's latest movements?I tell you, all human - and national - life is here. karter
The West Dulwich Forum is almost identical to this one and gets hardly any traffic. I would say it's the people, shops, meet ups, events, clubs that make this forum so popular and it's very easy to use. foolish fairy
The reason the ED Forum has more people posting in it than in the West Dulwich forum, is partly like someone in this forum pointed out. The ED forum doesn't really just cover the East Dulwich area it also covers other area's, that canny estate agents have told their client their house is in East Dulwich to con more money out of them, and they have choosen to believe them because of a bit of snobbery. Also because in West Dulwich our house's are so much more expensive therefore we have to work at our very well paid jobs to pay our morgtgages, instead of having lots of time to sit on this forum.B) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5407-why-is-east-dulwich-forum-so-popular/page/3/#findComment-178423 Share on other sites

Moos
Yes but only the people who are being commented on have too much time on their hands. The people doing the commenting are frightfully busy and important and only snatching a moment from their hurried, busy, important days to locate a particular thread - almost at random, it has to happen so fast - and tell everyone else how much time they are wasting. thebeard
SIMPLE reason!!!!!ON Google.Search for anything remotely to do with east dulwich or not and you end up with a link to this forum.Like ( plough diy ) it works for ( dulwich sushi ) too.4th row down at worst and you get eastdulwich forum link.NOTE you don't get west dulwich of dulwich village returned in the searches.Does the site have some kind of deal with Google.? ;) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5407-why-is-east-dulwich-forum-so-popular/page/3/#findComment-190709 Share on other sites
