A soothing afternoon of slow, grounding and calming Dru Yoga with Lucyoga followed by a Sound Healing session with Ineta of White Bird Sounds. Set amongst the sounds of urban London this yoga workshop will explore how to find calmness and relaxation in a hectic city.

"Every now and then go away, have a little relaxation, for when you return to your work your judgement will be surer" (Leonardo Da Vinci)

What is Dru Yoga?

Dru Yoga is a beautiful slow and flowing form of yoga that will help you to relax, unwind and stretch out your body. It can help revive tired muscles, reduce back pain and combat stress. Dru Yoga gives the mind and body much needed rest and relaxation, to help you find a still point in a busy world.

What is Sound Healing?

Sound Healing is a relaxation technique where live instruments are used to help people release anxiety, emotional baggage and stress, to relax the body and mind. Soothing live music allows the body and mind to completely let go and relax. It is like coming back to yourself, finding that peace inside of you. We are all unique and sometimes we forget that. This sound healing session will help you to meet yourself again with the freedom to be who you really are, without any expectations or demand of how you should be.

What to expect

The first hour of this workshop will focus on calming but physical movements that help you to release stress from the body. We'll work with yoga postures, breathing techniques and visualisations to help us see ways to cope with stress and to then let it go.

The yoga will be accompanied by Ineta's sound healing instruments to make it extra soothing.

We'll then take an extended relaxation, helped by the movement and stretching we've just done, and supported by bolsters and blankets so you can be as comfortable as possible, accompanied by Ineta's Sound Healing and the sounds of urban London.

This workshop is suitable for all, whether you are totally new to yoga or have been practicing for years or anything in between. Think all the benefits of a beautiful yoga retreat but with the investment of just two hours on a Saturday afternoon and without even having to leave London! How can you resist!?

    • No, signs of sense and scrutiny of "leaders" not knowing the impact of what they have done, so much so that every citizen in the UK will suffer financially as a result of an incompetent, incoherent, unhinged Govt that's impact is effecting every citizen in the UK. Where things were being turned around by the last lot, this lot has already compromised all that work in its first 120 days in power. You may not like it but that's the truth.  We are never going to agree and actually Reeves, Rayner and Starmer need to go, like yesterday.

    • This is why you are not the chancellor! Rachel Reeves won't be going anywhere until either she fixes things or Starmer needs someone to blame!
    • I fully agree. I hope you had some khinkali (Georgian dumplings), they're fantastic! They used to have only meat ones but now they also have mushroom ones and they're great. I always try to fit in a honey cake at dessert. Overall I appreciate that their food and menu seems to only improve with time.
