buggie
Is Tim Campbell lining up to become a politician ?unsure - he was on masterchef last night eating but don't think he's lining up for a job as a food critic... could it be he epitomises the working class boy made good?(edited as kebab excitement leapt in!) Keef
I know it's mean, but I couldn't help laughing at the guy who was almost crying about having been mugged 3 times in 18 years. bon3yard
My housemate Dave even managed to get a question aired...it was however ignored. Piers Morgan is truly a horrible cnut and I found it rather depressing that he was invited on such a supposedly high minded debate show. demery
I did raise a question about Jacqui Smith's ?116K expenses which was roundly ignored by the panel. They seemed more concerned about which was the primary residence and whether she'd broken the spirit of the rules. ?116K people. And she stays in one room at her sisters house. If she comes out of it this scot free, I want to be first in the line to rent a room to the next MP moving to ED. bon3yard
Yes, Rabble Rouser. Thats the one. I'd quite happily lock him and Kelvin Mackenzie in a room together with no food or water see how long it takes for them to eat each other. matthew123
I thought the statistic about Camberwell crime was startling - but glad it was aired as you cannot sweep these things under the carpet and hope they go away. That guy who asked the question should be applauded - as it puts Camberwell back on the Radar. The question about the Kebab was irrelevant for a panel who knew nothing about the area first hand. Richard Dimbleby could have reversed the question at the audience, and asked for a show of hands on, how many people in the audience would feel safer walking at night in Peckham than in their home towns back in Bristol, Leeds, Bradford, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow or overseas etc.. PeckhamRose
I agree my "Brilliant" post was a bit tongue in cheek which - as I was writing as it was on - was a bit pointless. Anyway, I was also disappointed in the end, because Dimbleby himself was a bit sneering I felt. As for Piers Morgan, whilst I agree about the negative points made about him, I sometimes feel that if most MPs could get away with it, they would say a lot of the same things but for their imposed political correctness constraints.
