I vaguely remember a clock showing 4.37 at some stage last night.

My house is currently a disaster zone. I have taken residence/refuge on the sofa. Perhaps permanently.

Oh what fun

TBH, I hadn't a clue what the NY day parade was all about, but I volunteered my vehicle to be converted into a taxi cab and our time to drive it in the parade

It was great fun, and i'm up to do it again next year

Our 'float' came 2nd and we won ?6K for the cause

If you've not been, it's a different way to spend NYD

It's squarely aimed at the tourists staying over New Year, but it's worth a visit once in a while

It felt very New York at times, but not to the detrement of the event

It's well organised too
