My fictional character is dead to be sure, He was pushed off the ghost train at the end of Brighton peer by Pinkie and fell into the sea.

But I "Fred Hale" am still alive as I live and breath.

Sorry Mr Lush, I think that was a good guess as Fred Hale works for the Daily Messenger but I am not a reporter. Nor am I Mr. Macroban.

Still no claims for your 10 shillings I see

Dear Mr WoofMarkTheDog

For your information and to educate the general masses, rare ten shilling notes are worth a pretty penny or two. Please see the following link to find out how much??

Also please be informed that according to the vetenary clinic that I use to remove my dogs “boisterous urges”, the consumption of chocolate by a dog can lead to death or serious illness, therefore I advise you to lay off the curly wurlys and get some good boy chocolate drops (especially formulated for dogs) as a replacement.

    • Chiming in to recommend the Canacabins team, who did a beautiful job completely rebuilding a well-loved (but falling down) shed into a new garden office. While they were at it, they also constructed a new pond surround, deck, railing, and patched up our decrepit fence, all to a high standard. A friendly team and very happy with the end result!
    • There isn’t a map for the Go Jauntly walk - I added that.  I plan to update it now the weather is getting warmer but haven’t yet. Part of the reason for adding it was that I couldn’t find a map.    Not going to help but Dulwich Festival will be doing a walk so might be worth asking them.
    • An idea if you are looking for something to do. I’ve visited and have just come across this again.    Vauxhall City Farm is a farm in London where we can see the animals the packaged meat in the supermarket comes from. Entrance is free, a donation of £4 is requested   Looking for a present you can adopt an animal - support the farm and the person you gift it to will get 3 lots of food to feed on visits.    The 50th Anniversary Appeal is currently running so they can do the farm up and hopefully give the animals a home and people the chance to see them for another 50 years. If you want to donate here’s the link    https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/growthenext50years
