Join the Goose Green School children's choir and Goose Green Community Choir for Christmas carol singing, mulled wine and mince pies! This family friendly event is open to all - you'll find us in the gathered around the Christmas Tree, at 6:15pm on Thursday 18th December. This year, the event is being sponsored through the generous support of local estate agent No Flies. Find out about No Flies here http://no-flies.co.uk/

Rob Parton, school music teacher and director of the East Dulwich Academy of Music and Performing Arts will be leading the festivities.

The carol singing will take place around the living Christmas Tree which has just been planted. This was organised by the Goose Green Primary School PTA through Southwark Council's Adopt a Tree scheme. It has been decorated by Goose Green School children and it will be maintained by children of the school. And the Christmas Lights have been timed to go on every day from 3 - 9pm.

    • I’m amazed that the council and Gala go through this fabrication of a consultation considering Gala started selling early bird tickets in November 2024 therefore they know it’s going to happen.
    • Hopefully one of the local tech guys can assist you.
    • Yes, I saw it. It was in response to my post asking whether there was an update. It seems that may be the one which  jb is apparently saying is "sarcastic", as I can't think of anything else If that is the case , it is quite upsetting that they should think that of me,  given the very sad  subject of that thread.  I had already edited my previous post on here to say that, after I had had a look to see what jb could be referring to, but I don't know whether that was before or after your post above, as that is starting a new page and I've only just seen it. They both say 2 hours ago. Anyway, I'm tired of the whole thing. I don't mind being accused of things I've actually done, and if I agree I've done wrong then I will always  apologise. But to be subject to a very public attack, when many  people know who I am,  which appears to be completely unfounded as jb despite requests  has provided nothing to back  up their statements, is very depressing. ETA: I know I can be outspoken, on here and in real life, but I don't think that is what I was being accused of.
    • It can get pretty bad on our road, drives me mad. As mentioned on the previous thread though, when I've reported any to the council they've been pretty quick at cleaning it up  https://www.southwark.gov.uk/parking-streets-and-transport/street-care/dog-poo
