Alan Medic
East Dulwich. Actually a ghost town 'inhabited' by online forum users who make out it's actually real. Probably aliens playing a game I suspect. numbers
Much Wenlock in Shropshire. Strange. In fact, I find 'middle' England very, very strange.Until recently (ish), I would have ventured Lewes but I am sure they're just lovely now ;)Agree parts of Norfolk can be quite odd. King's Lynn would have been a fine town in the past (during Hanseatic times..yes that far back). Whitby was slightly odd (in a good way). Perhaps it was the gothic stuff mixed with fish & chips & being up north.Yeovil. Godawful. But that's more shithole than strange. david_carnell
Not sure about Sutton being "most normal" town. I grew up there and always thought it was just dull. With barely restrained sexual frustration bubbling into violence. Much like the Daily Mail. maxxi
Bedworth (Bed'urth in local vernacular) - very strange and unsettling place. Most depressing - toss up between Crewe and Reading. Robert Poste's Child
I'd rather live in King's Lynn than Sutton.Right now, department stores feel like a strange alternative reality.
