Conveyancers Recommendation

Hello there

Can anyone recommend some decent but reasonable conveyancers/solicitors? We've had a few wildly varying quotes (?1000 -?1750 for one bed leasehold flat) from some firms none of which have inspired much confidence. We're looking for a conveyancer/solicitor who really knows there stuff and will take charge through the purchase rather than requiring continual chasing by us.

I've used two different ones one dirt cheap and the other in that region, both required continual chasing it's the nature of the beast I'm afraid
