Ab-so-lute-ment!...mind you as a conservative(small c) and liberal minded Guy(in "some" respects like FREEDOM ) who comes from the largest Housing Estate in Europe (then) from a High Street so solidly Labour that their National Headquartes were theret(Walworth Road) I'm totally flexible Rosie Me Darling:)-D

p.s I do so hope My Darling Seanie Baby can understand this...(tu)

My god, Sean you're right - Mangan IS boring now - I'd only thought it through as far as I might start shopping at Boden, but an inevitable dulling of my sparkling wit? Yikes.

And Tony sweetcheeks, I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Please to explain.

How the heck do I know?

I'm actually feeling extremely high, enjoying the buzz and stimulant that is life itself, that I can not be held responsible for my postings in the immediate future.

My Business really (at last!) is looking viable and well, ROSY, in fact(tu)

they say opposites attract but I somehow feel a cross-party mix does not seem the best starting point.

I suppose it depends what you're looking for, if you want something that will 'last and 'last' then I suspect having similar values and general approach to life (and your political bent could be a pretty good way of assessing that) are important, even if you are very different in otherways (extrovert/introvert, rocket scientist/graffiti artist, boy/girl, nightowl/early morning bird, practical/dippy, etc etc).

it's so personal RosieH

guess only you can answer that question(!)but could you really love this(?)

Thanks Double C!

I realise that triumph and disaster are the "Twin Impostors" of Mr.Kipling Legend, an exceeding good Poet who is Ruddy Hard to understand sometimes, but thru' the Joys of Serendipity, I may have indeed "stumbled across" the way forward,(excuse me if I "wax loquacious" this fine Morning)!

I tried to Sub-Let my own Business unsuccessfully(won't bore you with the details) so forced to go solo I had/have to make it work and this Weekend for 9 hours combined work I earned, after Tax, nearly 6 weeks money that I would have done in one of my old Office Jobs, so long may it continue!:)

More work required though, much more to try to consolidate!

Are you a debt collector?...;-)

Not if it's Tori Spelling, by the way have you got the spelling correct?

She's a rotten actress and is shovel-faced.

Though her father Aaron is probably caked with oof, so perhaps you may wish to put any finer sensibilities to one side.

I have a Tory friend. Just the one, I think. He's a very nice chap, did extremely well for himself. We tend not to talk politics, as there is really no point. And anyway, there's a bit of jealousy on my side, that he's got a stash in the bank and owns a few houses.

One problem I can see, is that if the relationship goes somewhere, I presume you will have to meet his friend and possibly family. Are they Tory too? One on their own I can deal with, but a cluster of them, it could become a bit of a problem. In situations like that, I find myself becoming very Old Labour.

I suppose it depends on why he's a Tory. If he's an out and out fascist, I'd steer clear. Unless he's drop dead gorgeous, then all bets are off.

Is it me, or do most Tory women have a propensity for podginess?

Good point cdonline - there is "tory" and "TORY" - if he is a decent chap then ok but right wing tory snobs can be difficult to listen to - so it deppends on people's values at the end of the day and how willing they are to listen to other peoples opinions, their view on people less well off than themselves is also important.

These characteristics should be pretty clear from the start and if he's a decent sort he should have similar values in general despite having different political opinions.

RosieH I had a long term relationship with a Tory who tetered on the brink of fascism from time to time, but he was extremely hot - even with his spotted braces and matching handkerchief!

We were together for almost 2 years and had some of the best arguments ever, but you know what comes after those... ;-)

(Edited to say no pun intended!)

jewellery, jewellery... now what's all this I hear about jewellery, PeckhamRose... have I been going wrong somewhere???

mind you have always been attracted to the art type and artist/garratt/jewellery, hhhmmm... not sure really they go together

maybe I need to think again about what 'my type' is(?)

but Tory... that's a step too far for me(!)
