Jocky
I had to peg it out of here today after they tried to charge me ?6 for a small bit Cheddar. The man in there isn't very polite either. Respect for their selection of food but it's ridiculously overpriced. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/52262-the-cheese-block/ Share on other sites

MrBen
Jocky. If you want three quid cheddar head to Lidl. The cheese block is an excellent shop and is top drawer and the guy is sound too Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/52262-the-cheese-block/#findComment-804940 Share on other sites
Alan Medic
What does a man being a complete fanny mean or were you just shocked by the cost of the cheese? If Lidl sold the same product at half the price I'd head there too regardless of how sound the guy was. Hawley
Fantastic place run by a great guy. Granted their cheese isn't priced at supermarket levels, but good value for the quality and range on offer. Jocky
Not feeling it I'm afraid. Always willing to pay a bit extra for the right ingredient(s) but bad vibes from man vs overpriced goods isn't really my bag. steveo
Mr. Rao is a jolly nice chap and his cheese is very cheesy. I've never witnessed poor hygiene in there and probably the long queues of customers that will be thronging his shop between now and Christmas haven't either Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/52262-the-cheese-block/#findComment-805214 Share on other sites
