aquarius moon
As I don't know your wife, don't know why she is veggie. If it's for health reasons, can understand her desire to lapse. If it's because she is an animal lover & finds it morally wrong, sorry but how can she even get the urge to try? The thought of eating meat makes me feel sick.If she is doing it for the animals, but finding it hard, I commend her for sticking to her beliefs. She is wonderful x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/52248-fake-vegetarians/page/4/#findComment-805477 Share on other sites
Otta
As I said earlier, it started off as about the animals when she was young, but now she does it more for environmental reasons. Look back through your old posts. As I said then, I don't drink milk or buy dairy products. I use dairy free alternatives for cooking & drink my tea/coffee black. If I eat out, I have been known to eat cheese, only because there is rarely any veggie option on the menu that doesn't contain it. But as I only eat out approx once a year, irrelevant anyway. As for eggs, even free-range are sometimes not as advertised. Happy eggs for example are not from happy hens. The eggs I buy are not only free range but also organic and from a trusted source.I can't believe that you could even think that I'd buy battery eggs. You shouldn't do it! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/52248-fake-vegetarians/page/4/#findComment-805586 Share on other sites

KidKruger
Darn it Jeremy, what if you're a Jain (or your partner is) ?All that effort sweeping bugs out of your path as you turn over during sleep, masking your mouth in case you breathe-in and ingest insects, all to blow it by ingesting someone's body fluids. the-e-dealer
With K*nts like Gordon Ramsay around you cant avoid meat even if you are a vegetarian all you can do is make a best effort to be a veggie. Apart fro my teenage years I've been a veggie all my life. Never eaten meat never had a bacon roll and apart from one mouthful of a maccy D - They gave me the wrong burger never had a maccy Donalds. It was tasteless by the way, How can you spot it is meat? How exactly does Ramsay stop you being a veggie? Are you saying he pops around on occasion and shoves a pork sausage in your mouth? Treats you to a spit roast? Shows you how to enjoy a nice meat and two veg? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/52248-fake-vegetarians/page/4/#findComment-805948 Share on other sites
