X - mas bonus for cleaners?

Thinking of giving my cleaner a bonus for xmas but have no idea how much to give. I presume most cleaners would appreciate money rather than a gift so could anyone suggest what might be a reasonable amount to give?

My cleaner comes every week for 3 hrs and charges ?10. Have only been using her for 3 months or so.

We give our cleaner a bonus, usually ?50, I also buy for her childrens some sweets! She give me a dig out all year, I work really hard, and my husband and I travel a lot so without her I'd be lost :)

I usually put ?20 in a card, and give some chocolates or similar. I pay holiday pay (a weeks money) every quarter, so don't feel I need to give too much of a bonus.

Our cleaner refuses to take a bonus off us so we buy her a sainsburys gift card, probably ?50 then also a nice present for her daughter - she spoils our kids over the year and will buy them presents even though I tell her not to.

Yeah I presume you mean ?10 an hour!

My cleaner is paid ?10 an hour and last year we gave her an extra ?10 at christmas.

Our cleaner is worth her weight in gold. I think ?50 is a fair amount. If your can afford more I don't think it's any harm. It shows you appreciate what they are doing and thus they will continue to work well
