Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 ...Mrs quids goes to pick up 30p from nursery at the top of Rye Lane...parks in 5 minute zone outside nursery....unloads 10p goes in has to pick up 30p, get her coat/boots etc on comes outside....parking ticket, 6 minutes....?60, outside a fucking Nursery......the less charitable side of me (there is one) hopes the bloke broke his leg on the ice going home......no wonder no-one with a car evers shops in Peckham. Is the council there to serve us or is it the other way round......Rant overdo your best Sean..... 'escorted alighting' should be the challenge but Southwark weren't having it so I've gone to the independent adjudicator. I should hear next week if you're interested. PeckhamRose Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 I really wish you the best of luck, having "gotten away with" (been found innocent with no evidence) two tickets recently.I would also strongly suggest (and this is a matter of a lot of people) people power going to community councils when there are parking people there (and they often attend) to discuss this sort of situation.
