yeknomyeknom
I'm meeting a friend, probably in the West End on Monday at 9am for breakfast. I fancy doing something festive. Anyone have any ideas? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/52138-festive-breakfast-recommendation/ Share on other sites
SteveUK1978
If you are feeling flush, the restaurant at Fortnum & Mason is very nice for breakfast and offers plenty of chances to spend any money you have left on festive goodies afterwards. Grainne17
The Woolsley is also great for breakfast Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/52138-festive-breakfast-recommendation/#findComment-803887 Share on other sites
Nigello
I recommend the Delaunay at Aldwych. You can book for breakfast/brunch or just turn up and they'll put you in the ante-room (not the cafe at the side). MrBen
Both Delaunay and Wolesley above are spot on suggestions. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/52138-festive-breakfast-recommendation/#findComment-803898 Share on other sites

yeknomyeknom
Thanks everyone. I love all the places mentioned above and they are fab for breakfast. But I'm looking for somethng festive, Christmassy. Somewhere with a roaring fire, or tree or, I don't know, a theme? I'm not entirely sure what makes a place feel festive. Any more great ideas? joanaj87
i dont know where a place like that would be. it will all depend on the shop and how they decide to decorate for this time of year but the ones mentioned are above are the ones i would also recommend. yeknomyeknom
Thanks joana, I understand it depends on the particular establishment. Let me word this another way. Has anyone been out in or walked past an eatery that looks particularly festive recently? david_carnell
The Rosewood Hotel in Holborn is looking very fetive at the moment (I can see it from my window at work) and has a lovely restaurant that do breakfasts. Might be worth looking at. If you find a place with a real fire open for breakfast in central London - let me know! mancity68
I went to the Holborn a Dining Rooms at the Rosewood , Holborn this morning. Lovely room and quite festive but slightly irritated to have the ma?tre d 'high five' me at 800am. The food was ok, but not as good as Dean St and more expensive.
